ALIMA (The Alliance for International Medical Action) is a medical humanitarian organization created in 2009. ALIMA is present in 14 countries around the world. Its operational headquarters are located in Dakar, Senegal. In France, ALIMA is registered as an association under the law of 1901, and its headquarters are located in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. The association is also registered in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Australia.

ALIMA aims to provide medical relief in emergencies or medical disasters by basing its modus operandi on partnerships, mainly with national humanitarian actors and research institutes1. By pooling and capitalizing on their skills, ALIMA and its partners enable access to quality care for the greatest number of beneficiaries and contribute to the improvement of humanitarian medicine practices through operational research projects
