Employment Information

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports
  • Record daily financial transactions accurately
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
  • Prepare tax returns and ensure tax compliance
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Conduct financial analysis and reporting
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information

Requirements:
  • An HND in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, Excel)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPA, CMA, or other professional accounting certification
  • Experience with financial reporting and budgeting
  • Familiarity with ERP systems

Work Environment:
  • Typically works in an office setting
  • May work independently or as part of a finance team
  • Standard business hours with occasional overtime during audits or tax season
