Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized Account Officer to join our team in Arepo.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing financial transactions, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly within the cable industry, will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounting documents.
- Process invoices, payments, receipts, and other financial transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements, customer accounts, and supplier accounts.
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure timely collections and payments.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support budget preparation, cost analysis, and financial planning activities.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Assist with payroll processing and statutory remittances where required.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial and accounting issues.
- Support internal and external audit activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- B.Sc. / HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of accounting or finance experience experience in a manufacturing company is an added advantage.
- Professional certification ICAN, ATS, ACCA, or part qualification will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems is desirable.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be between 22 to 35 years old.
- Residing within or close to Apo, Abuja FCTis an advantage.
