Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a minimum of 5 years' experience to oversee the company's accounting operations and manage all tax-related matters.
  • The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations and be capable of ensuring statutory compliance while providing accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
  • Handle all tax-related matters, including VAT, WHT, PAYE,
  •  CIT, and other statutory obligations.
  • Ensure timely filing and remittance of taxes and regulatory returns.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, ledgers, and general accounts.
  • Manage payroll processing and statutory deductions.
  • Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare financial forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
  • Support budgeting, financial planning, and management reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and statutory compliance.
  • Professional certification ICAN or ACCA is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
