About the Accountant Role As a full-time Accountant at Airlink Zambia, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Your expertise will support the company’s financial integrity through meticulous management of payroll, ledgers, and statutory filings.
Key Responsibilities for Accountant Jobs in Lusaka Prepare comprehensive monthly financial statements and reports to inform management decisions. Process payroll and manage statutory filings, including submissions to ZRA, NAPSA, NHIMA, and WCFB.
Maintain detailed ledgers, vouchers, and financial transactions using Tally Prime software. Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable to maintain cash flow and vendor relations. Assist in budget tracking and support the annual audit process to uphold regulatory compliance.
Qualifications and Experience A degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent certification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ZICA. Valid ZICA membership is mandatory for this position.
Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within Zambia. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and Tally Prime accounting software.
Strong understanding of Zambian tax laws and statutory compliance requirements. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
