The Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to join our Finance team. You’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely processing of premiums, reconciliations, and payments while supporting the company’s financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and upload premiums collected (standing orders, transfers, cheques, cash) within deadlines.
- Reconcile premiums received against bank statements (M+2).
- Upload and maintain cash books for all schemes (M+1).
- Ensure compliance with the bank approval process.
- Handle daily finance routines: daily rates, bank balances, cheque banking, and ad hoc tasks.
- Manage petty cash and process payments for all schemes.
- Assist with debtors’ follow-ups and prepare Statements of Account.
- Prepare bank and claim reconciliations for designated schemes.
About You
- SC and HSC holder
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field would be an advance
- 1 year of experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping (experience in Medical Insurance is an advantage)
- Proficient in MS Office and SAGE 200 Accounting system would be an advantage
- Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Strong numerical ability, attention to detail, and time management skills
