About the Role

An established engineering company is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable & Stock Costing Administrator to join their finance team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for stock costing, inventory allocation, customer account reconciliations, receipt allocations, and debtor follow-ups to support healthy cash flow and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform stock costing and inventory allocations on SAP S/4HANA.
  • Ensure accurate costing and allocation of stock transactions.
  • Allocate customer payments and receipts to the correct accounts.
  • Follow up on outstanding customer accounts and overdue payments.
  • Maintain debtor accounts and ensure timely collections.
  • Assist in managing cash flow through effective credit control processes.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve account queries.
  • Prepare reports relating to debtors, collections, and stock transactions.
  • Liaise with customers and internal departments regarding payment and account-related matters.
  • Ensure financial records are maintained accurately and in accordance with company procedures.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • Relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, Bookkeeping, or related field advantageous.
  • Previous experience in debtors, accounts receivable, credit control, or stock accounting.
  • Experience working on SAP S/4HANA is essential.
  • Strong understanding of stock costing and inventory allocation processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Strong communication and customer follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.

Preferred Experience

  • Engineering, manufacturing, industrial, or technical industry exposure.
  • Experience dealing with customer account reconciliations and collections.
  • Understanding of inventory and stock-related accounting processes.

Remuneration

  • Salary: R27,500 - R32 000 per month.
  • Stable long-term opportunity within an established engineering business.
