Job Summary

  • Our client urgently desire services of an Admin Manager.

The job responsibilities

  • Overseeing and coordinating maritime operations, including vessel scheduling, navigation, and crew management
  • Ensuring compliance with maritime laws, regulations, and international conventions
  • Working with various stakeholders, including shipping companies, port authorities, and government bodies
  • Managing maritime safety and environmental protection programs
  • Conducting inspections and audits on vessels and maritime facilities
  • Investigating maritime accidents and incidents, and preparing reports on findings
  • Maintaining records and documentation related to maritime operations and compliance
  • Providing advice and guidance on maritime matters to senior management and other stakeholders
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve maritime operations and safety
  • Coordinating and liaising with international maritime organizations and agencies.

Requirements

  • A minimum of an HND or BSc in any relevant field.
  • The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
  • A previous experience in the same role in the Marine Industry will be an advantage.
  • Also having an experience with an Audit firm will be a further advantage.
  • The ideal candidate must be resident within Delta State.
