Key Responsibilities
- Process and record financial transactions accurately and timely.
- Prepare and maintain accounting records, ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, and customer accounts.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, and journal entries.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial analysis.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Finance Manager.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- CPA Part II Qualification CPA Part III is an added advantage
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of Kenyan tax and statutory requirements.
