𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 (𝗡𝗦𝗦)

DTI is seeking a motivated National Service Personnel to support practical and theory-based instruction in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, with a focus on embedded systems and hardware programming.


𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Deliver instruction in electrical engineering fundamentals, analog and digital electronics, and embedded systems using microcontrollers (e.g. Arduino, STM32, ESP32)

• Support students in building circuit prototypes, basic PCB layouts, and hardware interfacing with sensors and actuators

• Assist with project-based learning sessions in automation, IoT, and control systems, including small group coaching

• Provide secondary classroom support for BTEC units such as Electrical and Electronic Principles, and Autonomous Mobile Robotics

• Assist with assessment logistics including invigilation, first-pass marking, score recording, and student feedback

• Maintain electronics, testing, and embedded systems lab equipment, including inventory checks and basic troubleshooting

• Help supervise student projects and technical documentation to ensure work is well organised and review-ready

• Contribute ideas to curriculum review and improvement discussions


𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀

• Recent BSc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field with valid NSS posting and clearance documents

• Extensive exposure to embedded systems design and programming (C, C++, or Python)

• Hands-on familiarity with oscilloscopes, multimeters, soldering stations, and basic PCB prototyping tools

• Genuine interest in mentoring students, skills development, and youth empowerment

• Clear written and spoken communication, with comfort presenting to small groups
