Assistant Front of House Manager - Award-Winning Restaurant - Constantia, Cape Town Kendrick Recruitment is searching for an energetic, guest-focused Assistant Front of House Manager for an acclaimed fine-dining Restaurant at a prestigious 5-star hotel and wine estate in Constantia, Cape Town. This is a fast-paced, high-standard FOH environment where guest experience is paramount. We are looking for someone who leads with high energy, communicates with confidence and thrives in a dynamic team setting. Please note: Candidates must currently reside in Cape Town. Relocation will not be considered for this role. Minimum Requirements: Matric essential; Hospitality Diploma advantageous WSET Level 2 advantageous Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar FOH management role Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent guest relations and service recovery ability Working knowledge of DinePlan or similar reservations system Cash handling and POS experience essential Strong understanding of stock control and beverage management Ability to work shifts, evenings, weekends and public holidays Stable work history with contactable references Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support FOH staff including waitrons, bartenders, runners and hosts Ensure consistent food and beverage presentation and service standards are upheld Drive guest satisfaction and serve as the primary point of contact for guest complaints Manage reservations in DinePlan and maximise covers appropriately Oversee stock counts, beverage ordering and variance tracking Complete and manage FOH rosters aligned to business needs and labour cost targets Handle daily cash-ups, financial handovers and related documentation Assist in training and developing FOH team members Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards Work closely with management to implement and maintain policies and operational systems Package: CTC: R23,573 per month Live-out position Should you feel you are the right fit for this role, please apply with your updated CV, contactable references and a recent head & shoulders photo ASAP! ?
