A stunning luxury lodge is searching for an ASSISTANT LODGE MANAGER. Set within a pristine Big Five reserve, this intimate luxury safari lodge is known for delivering authentic, high-end bush experiences paired with warm, personalised hospitality in a remote and nature-driven setting. They are looking for a proactive, service-driven individual with strong hospitality experience, who is passionate about the bush and capable of supporting daily operations while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. Candidate Responsibilities: Support the smooth day-to-day running of all lodge operations, ensuring high standards are consistently maintained across departments Assist and support the Lodge Manager with overall operational oversight, staff coordination, and implementation of lodge standards and procedures Ensure exceptional guest experiences by being actively involved in front-of-house service and responding promptly to guest needs and feedback Help oversee lodge administration, including stock control, ordering, and basic financial and operational reporting Maintain lodge presentation, health and safety standards, and ensure compliance with all operational procedures and policies Core Criteria: Previous experience in a similar role in a luxury lodge or high-end hospitality environment Strong operational and leadership skills, with the ability to support management and coordinate teams effectively Guest-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional, personalised service experiences Good administrative and organisational abilities Calm; adaptable, and hands-on approach with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced lodge environment A genuine appreciation for nature, wildlife, and conservation Package Offer: Accommodation and meals provided 3 weeks on/1 week off work cycle 21 days annual leave Contribution to medical aid and provident fund Access to staff recreation centre
