We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Assistant Store Manager to support the daily operations of a retail store. The successful candidate will assist in driving sales performance, leading and developing staff, maintaining operational standards, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role will also oversee store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
Key Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) is essential.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Retail Supervisor, or Team Leader.
- Retail industry experience is essential.
- Strong customer service and sales-driven mindset.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy and experience with retail POS systems.
- Professional, well-spoken, and able to confidently discuss operational and commercial responsibilities.
- Strong adaptability and leadership capability.
- Must align with and embody the brand culture.
- Preference will be given to candidates from luxury or premium retail brands.
