Qualifications & Experience:
- BTech Degree Electronics / Programming and/or relevant qualification
- At least 5 years relevant and/or similar experience in automotive manufacturing/manufacturing, Technical Training, Programming and Robotics.
Technical Requirements:
- Robotic Experience, preferably ABB and Kawasaki
- PLC – Intermediate, including programming, fault finding and installation, preferably Mitsubishi and Omron
- Electro pneumatics
- Project Management
Duties:
- Process Analysis – analyse existing process to identify opportunities for automation and improvement
- System Design and Development – Design, develop and implement automated systems and processes using various tools and technologies
- Testing and Validation – Thoroughly test and validate automation systems and processes using various tools and technologies
- Trouble shooting and Maintenance – Troubleshoot and maintain existing automation infrastructure , addressing any issues that arise
- Documentation – create and maintain documentation for automation processes, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
- Collaboration with cross functional teams to identify automation need and solutions.
- Conduct regular system performance assessments make recommendations for optimisation.
- Performing cost benefit analysis to justify automation investments.
- Generate reports on automation project performance and results
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Integrate automation systems with other systems or analytical tools
- Provide maintenance and production technical support
