BOILER OPERATOR
A leading manufacturing company in the FMCG sector is inviting applications from
suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Boiler Operator.
Reporting to: Mechanical Controller

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
• Boiler Operator Certificate
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in FMCG

Key Responsibilities:
• Operating steam boilers and auxiliary equipment safely and efficiently to meet bakery production requirements.
• Monitoring and recording boiler operating parameters including steam pressure, temperature, water levels, fuel consumption and condensate return.
• Conducting routine inspections of boilers, pumps, burners, feedwater systems, steam lines, condensate systems, valves and pressure vessels.

• Monitoring boiler water treatment systems to ensure compliance with operating standards.
• Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping standards in the boiler house and utility areas.
• Operating all equipment in accordance with safety regulations and company procedures.
• Ensuring uninterrupted steam supply to proofers, ovens and other steam-dependent bakery equipment.
• Reporting boiler performance issues and recommending improvement opportunities.
• Responding promptly to boiler alarms, equipment failures and utility interruptions.

Skills:
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong industrial boiler operation and control.
• Ability to read gauges, instrumentation and technical manuals.
