Robertson Winery (Pty) Ltd., has an exciting opportunity available for a Brand Activator to represent Robertson Winery in the KZN main market, with a key focus on Durban.

 

This role involves increasing the footprint of Robertson Winery products by driving availability and promotions in On-Consumption outlets, but could also include event activities.

 

The successful candidate will report to the Trade Marketing Manager in KZN.

 

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): *Acting as the link between the customer, the wholesale outlet, the Vinimark representative, and the Trade Marketing Manager

*In-the-trade relationship management with top selling customers and representatives *Influencing sales of products out of wholesalers and re-distributors within a certain area

*Driving listings of products with customers purchasing from wholesalers and re-distributors *Conducting promotions and tastings at customers and events *Managing and implementing promoters pre-, during, and post-promotions, including related administration *Being an expert in the area in terms of Robertson Winery products *Managing and implementing allocated point-of-sale material to drive return on investment *Advising on stock levels, and managing product pricing and merchandising activities at customer, wholesaler, and re-distributor outlets.

 

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

• Matric required, a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous;

• Minimum 3-5 years’ liquor sales experience in the KZN main market (basic wine knowledge will be advantageous);

• A results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently;

• Good computer proficiency (MS Office);

• Willingness to work after hours and weekends as required;

• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport for travel between wholesalers and re-distributors in the area.
