Business Analyst

Our client, a leading organisation within the payments industry, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join their growing team in Stellenbosch. This opportunity is ideal for an analytical professional who enjoys working with stakeholders, documenting requirements, and contributing to the development of innovative payment solutions within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business and reporting requirements
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and documentation
• Document workflows, business processes, and operational procedures
• Support project delivery initiatives within the PMO environment
• Assist with backlog grooming and requirement prioritisation
• Manage requirement changes and maintain accurate business analysis documentation
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and ensure solutions meet business requirements
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure successful project outcomes
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis tools, methodologies, and processes
• Assist with additional analysis and project-related responsibilities as required

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification
• 3–5 years’ experience in a Business Analyst role
• Strong understanding of the payment’s environment, including banking, retailers, digital payments, EFT, acquiring, settlement, and card schemes
• Experience working with Jira, Confluence, Draw.io, Visio, and Microsoft Office
• Strong documentation and stakeholder management skills
• BABOK or PMBOK exposure will be highly advantageous
• Strong AI proficiency or willingness to adopt AI-driven tools and processes
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport
• Fluent in business English
