Business Development & Digital Solutions Sales Executive

Role Description

• This is a full-time Business Development & Digital Solutions Sales Executive role based in Ikeja, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. The role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and managing the sales pipeline across the company’s digital solutions portfolio. The executive will conduct client meetings and product demos, prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals while ensuring a smooth handover to delivery teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing key accounts, tracking performance metrics, collaborating with product, marketing, and operations teams, and providing feedback to support solution improvement. The role also includes staying informed about market trends, competitors, and regulatory developments to inform sales strategy and business development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven skills in Lead Generation and Business Development to create, qualify, and grow new opportunities.
• Strong Sales and Sales Operations capabilities to manage pipelines, forecasts, and deal execution effectively.
• Experience in Account Management to maintain relationships, drive renewals, and support cross-selling and upselling.
• Background in selling digital, technology, or business solutions, ideally within B2B environments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage decision-makers at multiple levels.
• Comfort working with CRM tools, sales reporting, and basic data analysis to inform strategy and actions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• Knowledge of digital transformation, compliance, or financial inclusion solutions is an advantage.
