We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-oriented Business Manager to drive business growth, expand our market presence and build lasting relationships with clients across key sectors of the Nigerian economy.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  1. Develop and execute business development strategies that support the Company’s growth objectives
  2. Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities within the corporate, public and private sectors
  3. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through networking, referrals, prospecting and strategic partnerships
  4. Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, bids, tenders and Requests for Proposals RFPs
  5. Conduct presentations and negotiate commercial terms with prospective clients 

Client Relationship Management

  1. Develop strong relationships with decision-makers across target industries
  2. Conduct client needs assessments and recommend appropriate security solutions 
  3. Manage key client accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  4. Drive contract renewals, upselling and cross-selling opportunities 
  5. Address client concerns promptly and ensure service excellence

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  1. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities and emerging security risks
  2. Identify new markets, service opportunities and strategic partnership
  3. Contribute to company’s strategic planning and annual business objectives 

Commercial Leadership

  1. Work closely with operations to ensure seamless mobilization and service delivery for new contracts 
  2. Prepare revenue forecasts, sales reports and business performance analyses
  3. Monitor the profitability of contracts and recommend improvements where necessary
  4. Participate in pricing strategies and commercial negotiations

Brand Representation 

  1. Represent the Company at business meetings, conferences, exhibitions and networking events 
  2. Build strategic relationships with corporate, financial institutions, manufacturing companies, hospitality businesses, telecommunications companies and government agencies 
  3. Promote the company’s brand and strengthen its reputation within the security industry 

Collaboration

  1. Work closely with Operations, HR, Finance and Administration teams to ensure excellent service delivery
  2. Support the development of client retention initiatives and continuous improvement programs 
  3. Contribute to organizational growth by identifying operational and commercial improvement opportunities 

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Security Management, Criminology, Law or a related discipline
  2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, with at least 2 years within the private security industry
  3. Strong commercial and financial acumen
  4. Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities
