We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-oriented Business Manager to drive business growth, expand our market presence and build lasting relationships with clients across key sectors of the Nigerian economy.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Develop and execute business development strategies that support the Company’s growth objectives
- Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities within the corporate, public and private sectors
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through networking, referrals, prospecting and strategic partnerships
- Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, bids, tenders and Requests for Proposals RFPs
- Conduct presentations and negotiate commercial terms with prospective clients
Client Relationship Management
- Develop strong relationships with decision-makers across target industries
- Conduct client needs assessments and recommend appropriate security solutions
- Manage key client accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Drive contract renewals, upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Address client concerns promptly and ensure service excellence
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities and emerging security risks
- Identify new markets, service opportunities and strategic partnership
- Contribute to company’s strategic planning and annual business objectives
Commercial Leadership
- Work closely with operations to ensure seamless mobilization and service delivery for new contracts
- Prepare revenue forecasts, sales reports and business performance analyses
- Monitor the profitability of contracts and recommend improvements where necessary
- Participate in pricing strategies and commercial negotiations
Brand Representation
- Represent the Company at business meetings, conferences, exhibitions and networking events
- Build strategic relationships with corporate, financial institutions, manufacturing companies, hospitality businesses, telecommunications companies and government agencies
- Promote the company’s brand and strengthen its reputation within the security industry
Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations, HR, Finance and Administration teams to ensure excellent service delivery
- Support the development of client retention initiatives and continuous improvement programs
- Contribute to organizational growth by identifying operational and commercial improvement opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Security Management, Criminology, Law or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, with at least 2 years within the private security industry
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities
