Job Summary:Te main objective of the BDM is to recruit new customers and reactivate dormant customers for Nology’s business units. The successful candidate will be an energetic and enthusiastic salesperson who is able to identify potential customers, establish relationships and convert them into customers after which they will be handed over to the Account Management team for ongoing management.
Key duties and Responsibilities:New Partner Development
- Identify new potential resellers and partners.
- Identify potential end-user projects and opportunities.
- Establish contact and relationships with new partners.
- Communicate and present Nology’s product and solution portfolios.
- Nurturing leads and converting them to active customers.
- Negotiate deals and project opportunities.
- Compile and present proposals and quotations.
- Ongoing expansion of Active Partner base.
- Identify and engage dormant customers.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities with customers conducting business with other Nology Business Units.
- Attend relevant exhibitions and events.
- Liaise with relevant internal and external resources to ensure accuracy of solutions.
- Customer entertainment as necessary.
Vendor Management
- Maintain relationships with key vendors.
- Manage project and bid process with vendors.
- Work closely with vendors on new opportunities.
- Engage with vendor-lead sales leads.
- Attend relevant training.
Partner query resolution:
- Ensure that all customer queries are resolved timeously, leveraging other resources as necessary.
- Taking ownership and accountability for all partner queries, whether sales, technical, or finance related.
Administration
- Load activities on CRM.
- Compile and present sales reports to management.
- Load and manage sales opportunities.
- Compile and present QBRs.
- Follow up on quotes.
- Follow up on operations responses
