Job Purpose
- The incumbent is responsible for revenue growth in the organization through setting sales goals in line with the company sales budgetary forecast.
Areas of Responsibility
- Strategic Sales Operation: - presence of sales strategy for Logistics, Air, & Ocean Freight through Global network
- Business Development: Analyse market trends, identify new opportunities, and devise plans to achieve revenue targets
- Marketing: Deploy successful marketing campaign and own their implementation from ideation to execution
- Market Research: Conduct research and gather business intelligence to identify new markets and customer needs.
- Customer Retention: meeting up with clients for performance review and taking feedback to improve the service levels.
- Compliance: Maintain standard internal operating procedures with all internal departments for all accounts in place at all times.
- Reporting: Receiving, analysing and presenting sales reports to the Head of Business Unit.
- People Management & Coordination: monitor and ensure proper coordination by customer service executive with clients, agents, shipping lines, and other allied sub-contractor
Education
- Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven 5-8 years working experience in a Sales / Business Development position in Clearing & Forwarding
Job related kills, knowledge and experience
- Strong understanding of clearing & forwarding operations, regulatory compliance, and financial accuracy, coupled with effective communication skills
- Good mitigating and Conflict resolutions skills
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and team skills
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multi-task with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to influence and work with cross functional teams.
