Job Description
Field Sales Team Support
- Supervise & support field sales representatives to achieve sales targets
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor performance and provide coaching where necessary.
- Ensure proper execution of sales strategies and promotional activities in the market.
- Assist in setting team targets and tracking performance metrics.
Farm Outreach & Market Engagement
- Coordinate and support farm outreach activities and customer engagement initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, distributors, stockists, and key stakeholders.
- Organize market activations, and awareness campaigns to increase product visibility.
Monitoring, Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare regular sales and performance reports for management review.
- Monitor team productivity, sales trends, and market coverage.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities to provide actionable insights.
- Track KPIs and recommend improvement initiatives.
Branch Market Activities
- Coordinate branch-level marketing and sales activities
- Ensure teams effectively execute promotional campaigns and market development initiatives.
- Lead in identifying new business opportunities and customer segments.
Stockist Management
- Manage relationships with stockists and distributors within assigned regions.
- Monitor stock availability and distribution efficiency.
- Ensure proper product visibility and market penetration through stockists.
- Resolve issues affecting stock movement and customer satisfaction.
Route-to-Market Support
- Review and evaluate route-to-market effectiveness and efficiency.
- Identify non-viable routes and recommend corrective actions or restructuring.
- Support the development and implementation of improved distribution strategies
Job Requirements
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Business Administration, Sales, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in sales management, preferably in the agricultural or agribusiness sector.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing business growth strategies.
