Candidate Quantity Surveyor

Our client is seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in the Western Cape winelands. This is an excellent opportunity for a developing professional to gain exposure to a variety of construction projects while working alongside experienced industry specialists in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Assist with cost planning, estimating, and budgeting

·       Prepare bills of quantities and tender documentation

·       Support contract administration throughout the project lifecycle

·       Evaluate contractor payment applications and variations

·       Monitor project costs and assist with financial reporting

·       Participate in procurement and tender evaluation processes

·       Liaise with project teams, consultants, and contractors

·       Contribute to the successful commercial delivery of projects

Requirements:

·       Degree in Quantity Surveying

·       Registered as a Candidate Quantity Surveyor with SACQSP or eligible to register

·       2–5 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience

·       Sound understanding of quantity surveying principles and construction contracts

·       Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills

·       Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
