About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Carrier Business Sales Manager to drive sales of Mobility and A2P solutions in the telecom carrier / wholesale market. This role focuses on revenue growth, business development, bid management, and maintaining strong client relationships across Southern Africa.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell Mobility and A2P solutions to carrier clients

  • Achieve assigned revenue and sales targets

  • Identify opportunities and secure RFP / RFI invitations

  • Present competitive telecom solutions

  • Manage bids from submission to closure

  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships

  • Handle pricing, quotations, and commercial negotiations

  • Manage carrier contracts

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Minimum 7 years telecom sales experience

  • At least 3 years hands-on experience in the wholesale / carrier market

  • Strong understanding of telecom carrier business models

  • Proven negotiation and commercial skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets

  • Self-motivated, responsible, and results-driven

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience selling A2P, IPX, IP-VPN, or colocation services

  • Exposure to mobile solutions or device sales

  • Multilingual skills beyond English
