The Role

  • The Chief Financial Officer will provide strategic financial leadership across all companies within the Group and serve as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team. The successful candidate will lead all aspects of financial management, business planning, risk management, reporting, compliance, treasury, and corporate finance while supporting the Group's growth and expansion objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Group's financial strategy in alignment with organisational goals.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to the Board and Executive Leadership Team.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and long-term business modelling.
  • Oversee financial reporting, management accounts, statutory reporting, and audit processes.
  • Ensure robust internal controls, governance frameworks, and risk management systems.
  • Manage treasury functions, cash flow planning, banking relationships, and investment decisions.
  • Drive operational efficiencies and support commercial decision-making across the Group.
  • Lead financial due diligence, feasibility studies, and investment appraisals for expansion projects.
  • Oversee tax planning, regulatory compliance, and financial governance requirements.
  • Develop and lead high-performing finance teams across multiple entities.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic growth opportunities where applicable.
  • Establish key financial performance indicators and reporting frameworks to support data-driven decision-making.

The Candidate

We are seeking a highly accomplished finance executive who:

  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Possesses a recognised professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent.
  • Holds an MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Has a minimum of 15 years' progressive finance experience, including significant senior leadership experience as a CFO, Finance Director, Group Finance Director, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrates proven experience managing complex, multi-entity organisations.
  • Has strong expertise in strategic financial planning, corporate finance, governance, risk management, and business transformation.
  • Possesses exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Has experience working within growth-focused organisations undergoing expansion and organisational development.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of international financial reporting standards, compliance requirements, and corporate governance best practice.
  • Is commercially minded, highly analytical, and capable of influencing strategic decision-making at Board level.
