Our client is seeking a Civil Engineer with strong consulting experience to support the design and delivery of infrastructure and property development projects. The role involves both technical design work and client-facing responsibilities within a multidisciplinary professional team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design civil infrastructure including stormwater, sewer, and water reticulation systems
- Develop road and pavement designs including layerworks and kerb layouts
- Prepare stormwater management reports, outline scheme reports, and council submission documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across residential, commercial, and industrial developments
- Run consulting projects and support client engagement activities
- Ensure compliance with relevant municipal and engineering standards
- Contribute to design optimisation and technical problem-solving across projects
Requirements:
- BEng or BSc (Eng) in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years’ experience in civil engineering consulting
- Proficiency in Civil 3D; experience with SSA and Revit advantageous
- Strong experience in infrastructure design and report writing for council approvals
- Solid understanding of property development engineering requirements
- Strong communication and project coordination skills
- Experience representing a consulting firm within project teams advantageous
