Main Responsibilities

  • Validate claim upon receipt from Front liners and within set deadlines.

  • Inform clients of steps to be undertaken for the settlement of their claim.

  • Keep client informed of any action initiated in the file.

  • Review files.
  •  Follow the claim and keep insured and broker informed until repairs are completed to the satisfaction of client.
  • Attend to any mail/correspondence received in a timely manner.

  • Liaise with Surveyor/Garage/Contract Car Company/Spare Parts Dealer/Third Party Insurer.

  •  Ensure that call back messages are attended to promptly.

  • Ensure Prompt payment for Insured.

  • Master the Terms and conditions of the Insurance Policy.

  • Understand the legal framework of claims handling.

Job Requirements

  • A Level (High School Certificate)
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a claims handling position
  • Good communication skills (French / English - both verbal and written)
  • Outgoing Personality / Dynamic
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
