Main Responsibilities
- Validate claim upon receipt from Front
liners and within set deadlines.
- Inform clients of steps to be undertaken for the settlement of their claim.
- Keep client informed of any action initiated
in the file.
- Review files.
- Follow
the claim and keep insured and broker informed until repairs are completed to the
satisfaction of client.
- Attend
to any mail/correspondence received in a timely manner.
- Liaise with Surveyor/Garage/Contract Car
Company/Spare Parts Dealer/Third Party Insurer.
- Ensure
that call back messages are attended to promptly.
- Ensure Prompt payment for Insured.
- Master
the Terms and conditions of the Insurance Policy.
- Understand the legal framework of claims
handling.
Job Requirements
- A Level (High School Certificate)
- At least 2 years’ experience in a claims
handling position
- Good communication skills (French / English
- both verbal and written)
- Outgoing Personality / Dynamic
- Ability to work under pressure and to
meet tight deadlines
