Our client is looking for a friendly, customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join their Lanseria branch. The successful candidate will assist customers with product enquiries, provide expert advice, process sales, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
Minimum requirements:
- Matric with Mathematics (minimum C symbol or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Counter Sales, Internal Sales or a similar customer-facing sales role
- Technical interest or knowledge of engines, generators or electrical products will be advantageous
- Fluent in both English and Afrikaans (spoken and written)
- Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Experience using retail or point-of-sale systems
- Professional appearance with strong work ethic and interpersonal skills
- Target-driven, self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Own reliable transport and a valid driver's licence
