Job Title: Country Sales Manager – Civil Servant Loan Product
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer / Chairman

Duty Station: Head Office in Lilongwe, with frequent travel throughout Malawi

We are a growing duly licensed non-deposit taking microfinance institution regulated by the Reserve Bank of Malawi, dedicated to providing affordable and accessible digital financial solutions to individuals and small and medium enterprises in Malawi.
JOB PURPOSE
The Country Sales Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing the national sales strategy for the Company’s Civil Servants’ Loan Product. The role focuses on building, leading and motivating a high-performing nationwide network of Sales Agents to achieve customer acquisition and loan disbursement targets while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Agent Network Development: Recruit, train and manage Sales Agents across Malawi; expand and maintain an active sales agent network.

Sales Performance: Achieve monthly loan disbursement and customer acquisition targets; monitor agent productivity and implement improvement plans where necessary.

Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements; submit regular sales and market performance reports to Management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics or a related field.

Professional qualifications in Sales, Marketing or Management will be an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE
-
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales, business development, microfinance, banking, fintech, insurance or related industries.

Experience in recruiting and managing Sales Agents, field teams or business development representatives.

Experience in loan products, payroll lending or financial services will be an added advantage.

Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and business growth objectives.
