About the role
We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable Customer Care Assistant to join our team. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, communicating clearly, and creating a great customer experience. You will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting with inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring clients feel valued and supported throughout their journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via WhatsApp, phone, email, and social media.
  • Assist customers with product/service information and pricing.
  • Capture customer details accurately (name, contact info, requirements).
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when needed.
  • Follow up with customers on quotes, orders, and feedback.
  • Maintain a positive and helpful attitude in all interactions.
  • Work closely with the sales and production teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Keep records of customer interactions and update systems.
Minimum Requirements
  • South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
  • Must not have participated on the YES programme before.
  • Matric.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, internet).
  • Good communication skills (English required; additional languages are a plus).
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
