DISPATCH SUPERVISOR
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced person for the above post, which has arisen in the Dispatch Department at Lobel’s Bread (Private) Limited.
THE JOB
Based in Harare and reporting to the Dispatch Controller, the successful applicant will among other aspects be responsible for:
Overseeing the dispatch section.
Ensuring accountability by accurately recording stocks received and dispatched.
Communicating with the slicing section to ensure product availability.
Ensuring trucks are correctly loaded within the agreed timelines.
Ensuring that all crates going out of the premises are in check by validating that they are appropriately issued and recorded.
Analyzing all dispatch forms and paperwork submitted for error.
Communicating and dealing with the internal customer (Sales) and developing strong relations with them.
Educating subordinates on the need to load within the set timelines.
Adhering to FIFO rule as prescribed in the SOP manual when loading.
Analyzing loading efficiency on a daily basis-Quantity against time and trucks loaded.
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
The ideal applicant should possess the following minimum qualifications and attributes:
Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics.
Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and organizational skills.
High level of attention to detail.
