Our client in Germiston is seeking a physically fit, technically minded Driver with strong customer‑facing skills. The ideal candidate must be comfortable handling heavy equipment, performing basic mechanical tasks, and interacting professionally with clients during installations, demonstrations, and service visits.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily driving duties using a Code 10 licence
Deliver, install, and demonstrate equipment at client sites
Explain system functionality to clients and resolve basic technical queries
Handle on‑site issues, complaints, or repairs professionally
Maintain all company tools, equipment, and the assigned service vehicle
Perform preventative maintenance on the company vehicle and/or trailer
Assist with repairs, maintenance, and general duties inside the warehouse between delivery days
Use power tools safely and effectively (drilling, mounting, basic assembly)
Lift, carry, and manoeuvre equipment weighing 30kg–50kg daily
Minimum Requirements: • Valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence • Technical background (no formal qualification required) • Experience using power tools and performing basic mechanical assembly • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (30kg–50kg) • Strong problem‑solving and time‑management skills • Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills • Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
