Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above vacancy within KingdomBlue Funerals.

Purpose
To provide high-quality, safe and efficient transportation services, ensuring the timely, dignified and respectful handling of all assignments, including sensitive mortuary duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

Drive to all assigned destinations, ensuring timely arrival and adherence to schedules.
Conduct body removals, mortuary storage, and the washing, dressing and transport of the deceased for local, provincial and international burials.
Process documentation for local and international funerals as required.
Facilitate body viewings and engage respectfully with bereaved families.
Maintain good client relations from service initiation until drop-off.
Clean and conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles; report all faults and incidents as per fleet policy.
Complete logbooks, fuelling records, removal book entries and trip returns accurately.
Adhere strictly to road regulations and submit funeral survey forms to the Branch Manager after each burial.

Qualifications and Experience

5 O `level passes
Certificate in Mortuary Science
Class 2 Driver’s Licence
Defensive Driving Certificate
Valid Medical Certificate
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position
