You as the Education Officer will provide professional technical, operational, and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for education programmes/projects within the Country Programme, from development planning to delivery of results, preparing, executing, managing, and implementing a variety of technical and administrative programme tasks to facilitate programme development, implementation, programme progress monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.

Minimum requirements
- Education: Bachelor or equivalent First Level University Degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology and any other related fields.
- Work Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Research, Program planning, Management, Research in Education. and any other related fields.
- Skills: Analytical, Negotiation, Resource Management, Team Supervision, Strategic Thinking, and Risk Management skills are required.
- Language Requirements: Fluency in English is required
Desirables
- Language: Knowledge of another official UN language Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish or a local language
- Project monitoring, Site Supervision, Quality Assurance, Construction Technology, Experience in a Multicultural Environment, Teaching Certificate, and two years’ experience as a teacher are assets.
- Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
