Overview

A newly opening luxury safari lodge seeks an experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead and manage the housekeeping department, ensuring immaculate guest rooms and public areas while upholding premium hospitality standards in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee housekeeping across rooms, public areas, and back-of-house
  • Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards
  • Manage budgets, stock control, and procurement
  • Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff
  • Conduct room inspections and quality audits
  • Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance
  • Ensure health, safety, and hygiene compliance

Requirements

  • 3–5 years’ senior housekeeping experience (luxury lodge/hotel preferred)
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail and quality control
  • Knowledge of linen, chemicals, and equipment management

Remuneration & Benefits

  • Salary R15 000 paid in Namibian Dollars / South African Rands
  • Live-in shared accommodation
  • Meals
  • Cost of work permits and visa’s if necessary (for expat applicants)
  • Annual leave
  • Annual flights / passage home covered by the company
