We are hiring an External Sales Consultant to join our team in Johannesburg.

Matric
Tertiary qualification in Maritime studies / Import / Export advantages
Minimum of 6 years experience in shipping or similar environment
At least 2 years experience in ships agency sales
Valid drivers license
Client visits
New business development, identify and secure new clients
Client retention by maintain existing relationships
Filing and checking of SQs
Freight applications: Apply for rates, routings, feeder space, waivers, etc.
Provide customers with freight rate quotations
Provide customer support, i.e. handling of shipment and service queries if required.
Liaise with Principal on BIZ matters
Share guidelines, notices, sailing schedules
Database updates
Work on tenders and freight contracts negotiations
