Employment Information

We are looking for a skilled and analytical FEA Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing finite element analysis (FEA), structural simulations, and design validation for complex mechanical systems and vehicle structures.
The role requires strong engineering fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with design and manufacturing teams to optimize product performance, durability, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on mechanical and structural components.
  • Conduct static, dynamic, fatigue, vibration, thermal, and impact simulations.
  • Develop and validate simulation models for armored vehicles, automotive structures, or mechanical assemblies.
  • Interpret simulation results and provide engineering recommendations.
  • Support design optimization for weight reduction, strength, durability, and manufacturability.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to improve product performance.
  • Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation.
  • Participate in prototype testing and correlation studies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry and military engineering standards.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3–7 years’ experience in FEA and mechanical design engineering.
  • Proficiency in:
    • ANSYS
    • Abaqus
    • HyperMesh
    • LS-DYNA
    • SolidWorks Simulation or similar tools
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Structural mechanics
    • Material behavior
    • Fatigue and failure analysis
    • Welded structures
  • Ability to interpret CAD models and engineering drawings.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Advantageous Experience

  • Experience in armored vehicles, defense systems, automotive, or heavy equipment industries.
  • Knowledge of blast and ballistic simulation analysis.
  • Exposure to crashworthiness and survivability studies.
  • Understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
  • Experience with composite materials and advanced alloys.
