We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Long-Term Insurance Financial Advisor to sell and advise on funeral insurance, life cover, and investment/savings insurance solutions in South Africa.
In this role, you will meet clients, identify their needs, recommend suitable cover, assist with policy applications, and support clients through the process—while working on a fully commission-based remuneration structure.
Key Responsibilities
•Generate leads and market products through referrals, networking, canvassing, and other approved channels.
•Conduct client consultations to understand needs regarding funeral cover, life cover, and investment/savings goals.
•Advise and recommend appropriate products, explaining premiums, benefits, waiting periods (if applicable), exclusions, and claim procedures clearly.
•Complete and submit applications accurately, ensuring all client information and documentation are correct.
•Ensure compliance with all applicable South African requirements, including FAIS principles and internal compliance policies.
•Support clients during onboarding and follow up on outstanding applications.
•Provide ongoing client service by handling basic queries and assisting with servicing requests (where applicable).
•Meet sales targets set by management.
•Maintain accurate records of leads, sales activities, client meetings, and submissions.
