Manage and control the movement of all product inventory (including carcasses/boxes) and dry goods/consumables in line with company procedures
Ensure accurate labelling, proper stock positioning, and coordinate all stock intake documentation with the creditors department
Conduct weekly stock takes, post stock batches, and perform weekly/monthly reconciliations while investigating and resolving discrepancies
Compile weekly/monthly reports on inventory movements and variances, identifying trends and providing finance support to the Plant Manager and Analyst team
Supervise stock take teams and foster a positive, high-performing work environment through effective people management
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2 – 5 years inventory control experience will be advantageous
Minimum 1 - 2 years supervisory experience will be advantageous
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good English reading and writing skills
Proficient in basic computer applications
Solid understanding of yield and production processes
Qualification:
BCom degree in Finance is non-negotiable
