This position involves:
Maintaining accounting records for companies, trusts, and related entities
Supporting month-end processes and reporting pack
Monitoring multi-entity financial activity
Assisting with income tax compliance and external tax practitioners
Preparing audit files and liaising with auditors
Supporting preparation of B-BBEE scorecard (BEE123) and audit
Maintaining lease and title deed registers and managing renewals
Assisting with other compliance related matters (including FICA, Seesa, POPI, StatSA)
Company secretarial support: annual returns, resolutions, statutory records, ad hoc duties
Skills & Experience:
4 +years’ bookkeeping or accounting experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and solve problems proactively
Proficient in accounting software and Excel
Qualification:
B.Com Accounting (or similar)
Completed SAIPA or SAICA Articles
