Oversee day-to-day finance operations including AP, AR, purchase order authorisation, bank reconciliations, and payment cycles
Develop and implement financial SOPs, internal controls, and governance frameworks from the ground up
Manage system implementation and optimisation across the ERP and reporting platforms
Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and financial reports for local and international stakeholders
Oversee revenue recognition, rebate calculations, and retailer-specific accounting
Ensure compliance with South African tax legislation, including company tax calculations
Lead contract reviews and negotiations, supporting the business through tender processes and flagging legal risk areas
Manage, mentor, and develop the finance team - assessing capabilities, chairing weekly meetings, and setting team objectives
