We're looking for friendly and customer-focused individuals to provide exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As key members of our food service team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the high standards of our establishment.
- Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are communicated to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
- Answer questions about menu items, making recommendations when appropriate
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to increase revenue
- Maintain knowledge of wine pairings and cocktail ingredients to provide informed recommendations
- Ensure tables are set up correctly and maintained throughout service
- Process payments accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service operations
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in side work duties such as restocking supplies and cleaning dining areas
- Handle customer concerns or complaints with patience and professionalism
- Assist in training new team members on service procedures and restaurant policies
- Participate in pre-shift meetings to stay informed about menu changes, special events, or VIP guests
- Ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations and responsible drinking practices
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and supportive demeanor
- Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Attention to detail in food presentation and table settings
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred
- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management
- Food handling certification preferred
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
