Requirements:
- Previous experience operating packaging machinery within a manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Experience operating Form Fill and Seal (FFS) machines / bag maker machines advantageous
- Basic mechanical and technical troubleshooting ability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Good understanding of production and packaging processes
- Ability to work shifts and overtime when required
- Reliable transport
- Good communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Knowledge of food manufacturing and packaging processes advantageous
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and monitor Form Fill and Seal (FFS) / bag maker packaging machines
- Ensure packaging output meets quality and production standards
- Perform routine machine checks and basic troubleshooting
- Reduce machine downtime and production wastage
- Ensure correct packaging materials are loaded and used correctly
- Maintain a clean and safe production environment
- Follow health and safety regulations and company procedures
- Assist with production line operations when required
- Report machine faults and maintenance requirements to management
- Ensure production targets and deadlines are met
