This FP&A Analyst role forms part of the Group Finance function and plays a key role in supporting financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis across a complex, multi-entity environment.
The current landscape is highly data-intensive and evolving meaning you’ll be at the forefront of improving reporting accuracy, enhancing processes, and supporting the transition from manual workarounds to a more automated, data-driven future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple business units
  • Consolidate financial data and perform variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
  • Prepare and enhance monthly management reporting packs and financial models
  • Analyze financial performance and provide insight into trends and key drivers
  • Work extensively with large and complex datasets, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity
  • Improve and automate reporting processes using advanced Excel tools (Macros/VBA, Power Query)
  • Support financial system implementation, including data mapping, testing, and validation
  • Assist with financial modelling, scenario analysis, and business case development
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to drive data-driven decision-making

Job Experience and Skills Required:

  • Qualified CA(SA)
  • 1–3 years’ post-articles experience in FP&A, management accounting, or financial analysis
  • Strong data experience (this is non-negotiable, you should be comfortable working with large datasets and transforming them into insight)
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data models and yes, we will ask about them)
  • Experience with automation tools (Macros/VBA, Power Query)
  • Exposure to financial modelling and reporting
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical ability
  • Big 4 Articles with 1st time board exam passes.
Advantageous:
  • Power BI or other reporting/BI tools
  • Basic SQL knowledge
  • Experience in system implementations or multi-entity environments
