Job Summary
New Leaf Medical Complex is urgently seeking a proactive, reliable, and committed Female General Driver to join our support team. The role is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of staff, patients, and supplies to and from healthcare facilities. The General Driver will support the complex’s operational efficiency by ensuring timely transit, maintaining vehicle readiness, and strictly adhering to safety protocols
Key Responsibilities
1. Transportation & Core Operations
- Safely transport staff, patients, and medical supplies to designated appointments and facilities.
- Assist passengers with vehicle entry and exit, ensuring their comfort and safety during transit.
- Prioritize transit routes and schedules independently to ensure punctuality for all hospital-related transport duties.
2. Vehicle Maintenance & Readiness
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic readiness of assigned vehicles at all times.
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicle conditions (fuel, oil, tires, and brakes) and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Keep accurate vehicle logs, including mileage, fuel consumption, and transit history.
3. Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to all traffic laws and NLMC safety protocols during transit to protect passengers, staff, and the public.
- Ensure that vehicles are equipped with necessary safety tools (e.g., first aid kits, fire extinguishers).
- Promptly document and report any transit incidents or mechanical hazards to the Administrative or Clinical Operation Manager.
