Geomatics Engineer / GIS & Remote Sensing Specialist

• Hitech Construction Company Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Geomatics Engineer / GIS & Remote Sensing Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in surveying, GIS, remote sensing, drone mapping, geospatial data management, and land information systems, with the ability to support infrastructure and land development projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and supervise cadastral, topographic, engineering, and hydrographic surveys.
• Plan and execute drone surveys, photogrammetry, and aerial mapping projects.
• Perform GIS and remote sensing analysis for infrastructure development, environmental monitoring, and land-use planning.
• Develop, maintain, and manage geospatial databases and land information systems.
• Prepare technical reports, survey plans, maps, and geospatial datasets.
• Implement innovative geospatial and AI-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Coordinate survey teams and ensure compliance with professional standards and safety regulations.
• Carry out right-of-way assessments, land acquisition surveys, and property mapping projects.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders, consultants, and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• B.Tech/B.Sc./HND in Surveying & Geoinformatics, Geomatics Engineering, GIS, Remote Sensing, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in surveying, GIS, remote sensing, or geomatics engineering.
• Experience in engineering, cadastral, and topographic survey projects.
• Strong knowledge of drone operations, photogrammetry, and geospatial data processing.
• Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills.
• Membership of a recognized professional body is an added advantage.
