Group Management Accountant

A well-established organisation within the industrial sector is seeking a highly skilled Group Management Accountant to join their finance team based in Germiston.

This opportunity is ideal for a commercially minded finance professional with a strong background in management accounting, reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making through the delivery of accurate financial information, insightful reporting, and effective financial controls across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Analyse financial performance and provide strategic recommendations
• Monitor costs, margins, and profitability across business units
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information and reporting
• Assist with year-end audits and statutory reporting requirements
• Develop and maintain financial controls and reporting processes
• Partner with operational management to support business performance
• Prepare variance analysis and management reporting packs
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function

• BCom degree essential
• CIMA qualification essential
• 10+ years of management accounting experience
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting experience
• Experience within a group or multi-entity environment is advantageous
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
