- We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Land Acquisition to lead and manage all land sourcing, acquisition, title verification, negotiation, and regulatory approval processes for the organization. The ideal candidate must possess strong expertise in real estate development, land administration, government liaison, and property documentation, with a proven track record of securing viable lands for large-scale residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
- The successful candidate will drive the company’s expansion strategy by identifying high-value land opportunities, managing acquisition risks, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Estate Management, Estate Surveying & Valuation, Urban & Regional Planning, Geography, Law, or related discipline.
- Master’s Degree or professional certifications will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 12–15 years’ experience in land acquisition, real estate development, estate management, or property administration.
- Must have extensive experience working with Government Ministries, Agencies, Land Bureaus, or Regulatory Authorities.
- Strong knowledge of land documentation, title processing, C of O, Governor’s Consent, excision, gazette, survey plans, and land regularization processes.
- Proven ability to identify, evaluate, and secure strategic land opportunities.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong understanding of property laws, land use regulations, and real estate market dynamics.
- Ability to conduct feasibility studies and land valuation assessments.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and GIS/land mapping tools is an added advantage.
- Professional membership with NIESV, ESVARBON, NITP, or related professional bodies is an added advantage.
