Overall Responsibility:
The Head of Technology is responsible for driving the strategic technology initiatives to support business growth, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. He/she ensures the secure, reliable, and efficient operation of all IT systems, implements digital transformation initiatives while safeguarding critical data and maintaining stakeholder trust, and manages the operations and development of the Technology team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related numerate discipline.
- A master’s degree MBA, MSC IT, MIT is a strong advantage.
- Relevant professional certifications e.g. ITIL, COBIT, PMP, Scrum, CISSP, CISA, CISM, TOGAF, AWS, DevOps, Azure/ Google Cloud.
- A minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience.
- Insight and knowledge of local and international practices in the pensions and information technology industry.
