Role Overview: An exciting opportunity for an experienced Hospitality General Manager to lead a professional luxury safari lodge operation just outside Hoedspruit. This role is ideal for a strong hospitality all-rounder with previous game lodge experience and a solid understanding of all key operational areas required to run a successful safari lodge. ? Key Responsibilities: ? Lodge Operations & Guest Experience • Oversee the full daily operation of the safari lodge • Ensure exceptional guest experiences and service standards • Maintain smooth operations across all lodge departments ? Team Leadership & Staff Management • Lead, motivate, and manage lodge staff • Ensure strong teamwork, discipline, and operational efficiency • Support staff training and development initiatives ? Administration & Financial Oversight • Manage reporting, stock control, and lodge administration • Support budgeting and cost management processes • Ensure effective operational planning and communication ? Requirements: • Previous Game Lodge experience essential • Experience across all major lodge operational departments • Strong leadership and guest relations skills • Organised, hands-on, and able to work independently • Excellent communication and problem-solving ability ?
